For the center of gravity of the Bay of Algiers, it was allocated a spacious site in order to insert a museum that could show the great diversity of cultures that integrate the great African continent.
From the program exceled among many, two large main spaces: the one destinated to the exhibitions, and the other for meetings and debates, materialized in a large auditorium.
The research process that we followed, has resulted in successive discoveries of interaction with the place and with strong analogies with the fossils of the Sahara, that we thought could represent the adequate metaphor of the conceptual process.
