Replacing the old Atlantic Hotel, that was for decades a place of glamor in Monte Estoril, wedged between Marginal Avenue and the Atlantic, it was asked a new hotel unit ,more flexible and appropriate to the current demands, whilst maintaining the area of the old building.
For this we had to reposition the outdoor swimming pool plan, at the sea side, and reset the whole atmosphere of the outdoor that surrounds it, and in the side of the Marginal avenue, create garden spaces contained by a large "mask" of glass that defines the new image of the building, and act as an "acoustic cushion" against the noise of the Marginal.
Taking advantage of its privileged location, we used solutions with great fluidity of spaces and visual transparency, opening onto large terraces facing the Atlantic.
